At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Bianca Censori stunned audiences with her bold, barely-there look, making headlines alongside her husband, Kanye West. However, before she married the rapper, she had a completely different style which contrasted sharply with the revealing outfits she now wears.
Getting Kicked Out
West and Censori made headlines once again after the 2025 Grammy Awards, held on February 2. Their red carpet appearance took an unexpected turn when security allegedly removed them due to their attempt to recreate West’s “Vultures 1” album cover.
The album features Censori standing backward with minimal clothing, which they mirrored at the event. The couple, who wed in 2022, were later seen leaving Crypto.com Arena in a silver chrome car.
Reports conflict on whether they were forcibly removed or left by choice, but one insider claimed, “He walked the red carpet and then got in his car and left.” Despite West’s nomination for Best Rap Song, he ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.
Who She Was Before
Censori’s outfit at the Grammy was the talk of social media, but her transformation is an even more interesting topic, especially since she used to live a far more low-profile life.
Before marrying West, Censori was a highly ambitious architectural designer and model from Australia. She studied at the University of Melbourne, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture.
She worked at respected firms such as Kelektic and DP Toscano Architects before landing a coveted role at Yeezy. Her former employer, Joe Toscano, once said, “She obviously made an impression on Kanye West, and she made that impression because she’s actually very talented.”
Before her relationship with the rapper, Censori was known for her conservative, professional appearance. In a now-deleted 2020 Facebook video showcasing her Yeezy designs, she wore simple attire, with her long brunette hair parted to the side.
Psychologist Jo Hemmings noted, “Bianca shared her expertise and knowledge and appeared to be hoping for success in her chosen design career… She was precise about who and what she was.”
However, fast-forward to today, and Hemmings claimed that Censori has been “relentlessly exploited and manipulated” by West. “She had a quiet determination… but now she has been misdirected, a small step at a time,” the psychologist alleged.
Censori’s drastic change has also caused tension within her family. Reports suggest her Italian relatives felt ignored when she and West traveled extensively in Italy in 2023 but did not visit them.
“We haven’t seen anything of Bianca’s family here for years,” said her cousin, Fabiola Censori. “It was a shame she didn’t come and visit us when she was here in Italy on holiday.”
Their 2025 Grammys appearance wasn’t the first or only time the couple faced criticism for their actions. Their past behavior, such as a public incident in Venice, also generated controversy.
Police even investigated them when West allegedly exposed himself in a water taxi while Censori knelt in front of him. The company that owns the boats later banned them from using their services.
Despite the criticism, Censori remains a key figure in West’s world. According to her LinkedIn, she is still the Head of Architecture at Yeezy, aside from being his romantic partner.
Furthermore, insiders suggest the rapper tightly controls her life, from her diet and clothing to whether she’s allowed to speak. One source claimed she’s lost her independence and just does what he says, because he’s convinced her they’re royalty.
Most people have never seen pictures of Censori before she was drawn into the public eye with her husband, but those who have are shocked by the difference.
Under an old photo featuring her alongside her mother and sisters, one fan wrote, “Great Bianca.” But another fan said, “She is such a beautiful girl eish why did he think its nessasary to change he so much [sic].”
